Help Rebekah and her Family!

I'd really like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to help Rebekah and her family.

 

On the evening of Friday 26th November 2021 there was a freakish and horrific accident on Menangle Rd Kurtis and Rebekah were driving along Menangle Rd when a tree fell onto their car resulting in Rebekah being crushed and being left with head and spinal injuries. Kurtis got her out of the car and called for help. The Ambulances and rescue etc arrived and she was placed into an induced coma on the side of the road and rushed to Liverpool hospital where she went straight into surgery to relieve a bleed on the brain. After that she remained in an induced coma. Then on Sunday 28th November she went back into surgery where they had to cut out part of her skull (they have put it in storage and will be put back in later down the track) to relieve pressure on her brain and have more surgery. At this stage she remains stable but still in an induced coma. We do not know what the outcome will be or how she will wake up.

 

 

 

 

We have been told by doctors that her recovery will be very long and painful.

 

Rebekah is a 22-year-old single Mum of a beautiful 4-year-old girl, Margo! Rebekah’s parents are currently caring for her. She is a very talented local Makeup Artist at IconiX Salons in Thirlmere and Bargo.

 

 

Rebekah is a kind and caring soul and is beautiful inside and out. She hasn’t had an easy life, with a lot of obstacles to overcome and this is another hurdle she now has to face.

 

We are hoping you can find it in your hearts to help support Rebekah, Margo and her family to help relieve some of the financial pressures they will now need to face.
