I am creating this on behalf of my parents, Martha and Marco Garcia. They would never ask for help themselves, but they are first generation Mexican immigrants who lost everything they worked so hard for over 25 years to build in Altadena. They raised three children in this home and worked for decades to create a safe place to retire. Now their house is gone along with all their beloved possessions. Like so many when they evacuated, they never expected to not return so they left everything behind. We are mourning the loss of our beloved community, beautiful Altadena. If you are able, we would be deeply grateful for any amount donated to help them.
