Help Rebuild After Arson: Support for Mom

I’m trying to raise money for my mother whose house was set on fire by an abusive boyfriend. It has been confirmed as arson and we have not been able to get into the house yet as it is still an ongoing investigation. I’m not sure what can be salvaged at this moment, but I wanted to get some help for her. She has been behind on her bills due to my sister being out of state and having to have emergency surgery. I was able to call and pay the outstanding balance that she owed on her homeowners insurance so please pray that she is able to make a claim in a few days. It was set to be canceled and they said that I paid it on the last possible day it could’ve been paid. Please pray that the insurance company will come through for her and help her. In the meantime, we have people willing to help with clothes if necessary and I’m reaching out to churches to see how they can help. I will be going to see if I can enter the home after 5pm today to see what can be salvaged.

I wasn’t sure what to set the goal for. Not sure if that’s too much but I can adjust later once I know more about what she’s going to need. Thank you so much. I felt weird even making a gofundme but people were asking for a way to donate. We appreciate all the prayers also.
