Help Rebuild After Unexpected Home Damage

Hello everyone, thanks for all the support and help. I’m late updating but as of 6/25/24 the tree has been removed cost an arm and leg but it’s been done. Now my only task is to repair the roof. thanks again for all the support.

Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

I find myself in an urgent and dire situation and am reaching out for your help. On Sunday, May 26, a severe storm brought high winds and heavy rain, causing a large tree from my neighbor’s yard to fall on my house and car, inflicting significant damage. Unfortunately, my neighbor’s insurance company is dragging its feet, and with each passing day, the situation worsens. Water damage is spreading, and animals are beginning to invade the exposed areas, undoing all the hard work and investment I’ve put into remodeling my home.

My journey has been challenging. After recently returning home from federal prison, I dedicated myself to turning my life around, pouring all my savings into repairing and improving my house. This home represents my fresh start, my hope, and my future. I work hard to support myself, but the current predicament is making it extremely difficult to get to work and maintain even basic living conditions.

I am humbly asking for any assistance you can provide. The funds will go directly towards removing the massive tree and repairing the extensive damage to my home. Your generosity will not only help me fix my house but will also give me a fighting chance to continue rebuilding my life.
