Help Lisa-Marie recreate LMPstudio in Altadeda

First, thank you for taking the time to show your compassion.

As you may know, Southern California has been dealing with wildfires that started on January 9th, 2025, and have yet to be contained. With the media attention and resources being used toward the Pacific Palisades fire (which burned 23,000 acres of coastline), our town of Altadena was somewhat overlooked. As of now, more than 150,000 people have lost their sense of livelihood and self. I am one of those people.

I've been working to establish myself as an artist for years—all from my 540 sq ft. apartment. With my mom's inherited perseverance, I obtained a brick-and-mortar art studio on Fair Oaks in Downtown Altadena! I chose Altadena for the strong community and history that the area brings. I opened a space last fall with community support and artist collaboration. I used the space as a live/work for myself and other artists.

The Eaton Fire covered 10,000 acres (as of now, the total loss is 15,000), killing 15 people and displacing thousands! I arrived in time to see the fire start in the neighboring building. I attempted to run in and save anything I could see. With the heavy smoke and heat, I couldn't do it. I helplessly stood there and watched my passion burn to the ground.

All my photography, canvas, and equipment are gone! Pictures, cameras, paint, art collections, important business documents, everything...

All of Los Angeles is feeling the loss, but I would be extremely grateful if you could give.

Monies donated would go directly to obtaining a workspace and replenishing supplies (camera, brushes, paint, canvas, memory docks, etc.) so I can return to putting art back in the world and making people smile.
