Help Rebuild Andritsakako: Food, clothing & seeds needed
Donation protected
Just days ago, my friends in the village of Andritsakako were raided by violent gangs known as the Malaso, resulting in devastating loss of human life, all livestock, homes and life-sustaining crops were burnt to ash.
I’m Andrews Nelson, and for over 20 years, my daughters and I have forged deep connections with the resilient communities of Berivotra and Andritsakako in Madagascar. Our mission began with sustainable agriculture, conservation, and public health projects, but this recent tragedy has shaken us to our core.
The community has lost everything. In the aftermath, their first request is for school supplies for their 113 children. A simple backpack, two notebooks, and three pens for each child can help restore a sense of normalcy and hope. It will only cost $2,000 to provide these essential materials. We have a trusted friend ready to procure and deliver the supplies on a challenging four-day journey.
Beyond immediate needs, we aim to support the long-term recovery of the community by initiating projects such as replanting orchards and providing temporary food relief. Your contributions will not only help replace school supplies but also empower these families to rebuild their lives sustainably.
Will you join us in making a difference? Every dollar counts, and your support can help lift the spirits of these children and their families during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your generosity,
Andrews and Friends in Madagascar
