Help Rebuild Barefoot

Donation protected
Andrea has called Mexico Beach home her entire life. Kelly has now called MB home for 7 years. On any given day you can find Andrea driving around the beach - cleaning up trash, helping a neighbor, or just welcoming a new face to town. Kelly has worked with the city for years and is right there to help in any way she can while working tirelessly to complete her masters and create and run a successful business with Andrea.

Six years ago Andrea and Kelly decided to start Barefoot Kayak and Paddleboard Rental in Mexico Beach. Just last year they opened the doors to the Surf Shop. They built everything in the shop by hand and spent hours giving it that distinct Mexico Beach vibe.

Less than a year later, hurricane Michael has not only taken both their home on Hwy 98 and Barefoot’s surf shop as well.
These two make a living serving both locals and the lovely tourists that come to visit the Forgotten Coast. The destruction that has been caused by Michael will take months to physically rebuild and years to re-establish.

So...
If you've ever crashed on their couch, hung out on the front porch in the hammocks, or just enjoyed some time on the beach with these two...then you know the love and pride they have for the Florida panhandle and their neighbors in it. They've been there for all of us at one point or another and now it's our turn to be there for them.

Please consider helping them rebuild their life on the beach they call home. xx
