Help Rebuild B&G Deli
Donation protected
On Tuesday Night at around 11:15pm a Fire broke out in the store next to B&G Deli in Westbury NY.
5 Fire Departments responded to the blaze.
Unfortunately B & G Deli suffered a total loss due to fire, smoke and water damage.
For those of you who don’t know, my father Alphonse Lentz III has been the owner of B&G Deli for about 25 years. B & G is home to the best potato salad, macaroni salad and coleslaw found on Long Island (TRUST ME!). He has put his heart and soul into the deli and the food he serves to the community every day.
My dad is the most generous man often donating his time, money and food towards organizations near and dear to his heart. Even during some of his worst months financially (during the recent pandemic), my dad was still giving back to the community. He donated over 500 sandwiches in May to the community for a drive and go feed the community program when many were strapped for cash. He has donated hero sandwiches and catering to the local police departments when there was rioting during the summer and continues to donate food to front line workers. He has been awarded by numerous organizations and elected officials for his giving spirit; and would never ask anyone for anything. He is the most generous man, who will not ask a single soul for a dollar
This place was more than a deli to our family, it was our second home; a place my brother and myself both worked for years. The loss of our family business is devastating; there are no words to describe this horrible feeling.
If you could help donate to this go fund me page so we can start to rebuild our family business and start serving the best potato salad on Long Island it would mean so my to my family.
No donation is too small; $5, $10, $25 or $50 would go a long way in helping my family.
Thank you all for your support
