Help Rebuild Bill & Sandy's Siesta Key Home

We are incredibly grateful for the love and concern we’ve received in the wake of Helene. While many have been deeply affected, we feel fortunate to have come through this storm relatively safely.

However, the impact on Bill & Sandy Palmer’s home has been devastating. Their house on Siesta Key, built by Mark’s grandmother Gigi in 1962, is at the heart of four generations of family memories. For the first time in 60 years, the storm brought nearly a foot of floodwater inside.

Unfortunately, with no insurance to cover the damage, we are left to face the challenge of drying out and replacing everything — from the drywall and floors to the cabinets and furniture — on our own.

We know many friends, family members, and kind-hearted members of our community have asked how they can help, so Mark and I created this GoFundMe to provide an opportunity to support Mark's parents, Bill & Sandy, as they work to rebuild their home.
