
Help rebuild Camp Sigel's mess hall
On Friday, July 16th the almost 100 year old mess hall at Camp George E. Sigel on Lake Esquagama was devastated by a fire completely destroying the building and leaving a huge void in our camp property. The mess hall was the heart of our camp as it was the gathering place for all meals, services, and numerous other activities. Built in the 1930's it contained countless memories for thousands of campers. Camp Sigel is a non profit organization and is mainly supported by the summer rentals and maintained by a volunteer board, and the donations from area church groups. Thanks to all camps functioning with a volunteer staff Camp Sigel has been a welcoming place for children of all income levels. It is our goal to rebuild as soon as possible to continue to reach boys and girls with the wonderful gospel message of Christ's love.
