Run to Rebuild
Over the past two weeks I like you have been watching the events that have followed the unfair death of George Floyd. The days of riots have left the Twin Cities devastated. Lake Street, the heart of the damage is the home to many minority owned shops and restaurants, now burnt to the ground or heavily damaged. It feels overwhelming. The communities these restaurants and stores served rely on them, daily. I want to help.
On Saturday, I plan to run 103 miles on the Superior Hiking Trail. I will attempt to complete the distance in just one day.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Lake Street Council, and any donation will help make an impact. 100% of the proceeds will go to supporting the rebuilding of the small businesses and community organizations on Lake Street. Can you spare $5? Anything will help, and means ALOT. For each individual who donates a dollar, I would like to dedicate a mile to you.
