Help Rebuild Dad's life & support him after devastating fire

On the morning of October 25th, 2024, my father's house caught on fire. Thankfully, he and his lady friend got out alive, but the fire, smoke, and water destroyed decades of his collections of prized fishing rods, reels, tackle, gardening supplies (his garden and his butterflies were his baby), hunting gear, butterfly propagating supplies, freezers packed to the brim with his hunting and fishing catches, all his toolchests and tools.

Unfortunately, none of his items were covered by insurance and won't be replaced by them.

He had collected fishing rods and reels for decades, which were all melted in the 1000-degree fire.

He had butterfly netting, seeds for milkweed, lamps to keep them warm until they were ready for release and more.

Many have asked how they can help him and offered donations, so I set this GoFundMe up for my father.

We are all so thankful beyond measure for him and Mrs. B. surviving the fire, but it is going to be a long road to recovery both mentally, in dealing with losing most everything, as well as getting necessities and tangible items and rebuilding their home.
