Help Rebuild Eaton Dam Stables Barn
Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers - My name is Danielle and I am setting up this fundraiser page on behalf of Sharon Gray and our entire Eaton Dam Stables Family.
Eaton Dam Stables was struck by the devastating Eaton Fire that swept through our town on Tuesday evening. While we are fortunate to have safely evacuated all 39 horses, 12 chickens, and 2 cats, we suffered the heartbreaking loss of our upper barn, perimeter fence, and some sheds. For our tight-knit community barn, this loss feels insurmountable.
In 2020, Sharon made some much-needed improvements to the upper barn, including rebuilding the foundation and upgrading the electrical and plumbing. Despite these improvements, she was denied fire insurance simply because it was "an old wood barn in California."
If you know me, you know this barn is not just a structure; it is my home, a place where I grew up and where I have made countless memories. Eaton Dam is a small, family-run facility, and Sharon has dedicated her life to caring for our horses and managing every aspect of our operations, no matter how big or small the challenge.
I am organizing this fundraiser with the hope of raising enough funds to rebuild our barn and make our barn family whole again. Any contribution makes a difference and is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much.
