Help Rebuild Haliburton Scout Reserve

HALIBURTON SCOUT RESERVE

Haliburton Scout Reserve is open again after being closed for three summers due to the global pandemic. HSR is Scouts Canada’s largest semi-wilderness camp that covers 5,000 acres in the Haliburton Highlands in Central Ontario. Groups arrive to our property fully self-contained to camp on their booked site for the week. The dedicated staff provide various program activities (archery, sailing, climbing wall, kayaking, snorkelling, survival island, and many more) throughout their week at camp. Youth are encouraged to follow the Canadian Path and develop their leadership skills by conducting youth-led adventures and planning.

*Donations are eligible for a tax receipt (will come from GoFundMe, not Scouts Canada)*

Your contribution helps us complete many big projects around our camp, including but not limited to:

• repairs and upgrades to the Hub/Kitchen

• Upgrades to the archery and rifle ranges

• Improving staff washrooms and washhouses

• repairs to the sailing equipment

• Canoe and kayak repairs

• Repairs to our on-site clinic

• Upgrades to Smokey Hollow (campfire area)

• Develop program activities
