Help Rebuild Holy Name Catholic Church-Houston
Donation protected
Holy Name Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston, was established in the early 1900's and has served as a central place of workshop and gathering for the faithful in the Near Houston Northside. Holy Name Church is a sanctuary and has played an integral part of uniting surrounding communities for over 100 years.
On February 16th, in the mist of the big freeze, Holy Name Parish experience one oft the most devastating times in the church's history, a fire at the 100 year old church. Timing could not be worse as Houston Fire Fighters battling the blazing fire with decreased water pressure and pipes rupturing due to the freeze. The church was marginally spared and suffered smoke damage but the parish rectory, garage, and priest living quarters sustained major damage and are a total loss.
The goal is to raise $200,000 to rebuild Holy Name Catholic Church.
On behalf of Holy Name Parishioners and Community, we humbly asking you, to please make a contribution of whatever you can to help rebuild Holy Name.
Thank you in advance.
