Help Rebuild Katie, Ben, and Ava's Life

So Miss Katie is an incredibly resilient friend I grew up with in Pacifica. Her family's property in Arnold burned to the ground, resulting in a TOTAL LOSS....They were not the home owners and thus have nothing coming to help them recoup cost of anything they owned. The entire Ruth family lost a great deal that night, but Ben and Katie risked their lives to save the Ruth's family cabin. it was so much more than that, it was also where Ben, Katie, and Ava called home. Their world is now upside down Ava no longer can attend Hazel Fischer Elementary and is more then 3 hours away seperated from her parents. She is staying with other family while her parents are STILL being treated for their injuries0. What a traumatizing experience for anyone, especially a seven-year-old who was sleeping just a foot away from where the fire started. Thank goodness for the fire alarm which woke them all just in time. Ben and Katie rushed downstairs and saw the couch above Ava's pillow almost fully engulfed in flames. While screaming to locate Ava, who instinctively ran to the back deck when she heard the alarm go off, Katie tried to smother the fire the best she could while Ben rushed to get the fire extinguishers. He fought the fire which seemed to grow by the second. She kept on it until he got back despite choking on the fumes. As soon as he was back, Katie rushed to Ava. The two quickly found shoes and jackets. Mama bundled her up and the two ran to find a neighbor that was home to call 911. Ben was still trying to contain the madness until he physically no longer could. This was a tragedy for everyone involved. All experienced loss that night, some more than others. Katie, Ben, and Ava are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs....

While a loss of this caliber is hard to fathom for anyone, imagine for a moment how difficult it would be to move forward if you lost every single thing you owned. From the ashes of loved ones and irreplaceable gifts to photos and memories from years past. All forms of ID, and any access to your bank accounts, wallets are gone, cellphones too. Even their only vehicle .....gone. Ava's science fair project she just finished for school and every doll, stuffy, and toy she had. Even her little kitten was lost in the chaos.

Ben and Katie are good people and Ava is an amazing little girl who are all now homeless....being displaced because of the fire ...with nothing and nowhere to go. Katie, her fiance Ben, and their sweet dsughter miss Ava were in the home sound asleep when the fire started. ALL BARELY MADE IT OUT OKAY ....but luckily they survived

Little Ava Rose is over 3 hours away from her parents right now.She is staying with other family while her parents are STILL being treated for their injuries.
