Help Rebuild Lei & Paul Tirone's Home After Hurricane Helene

Hi everyone,

During the middle of the night on September 27th, Hurricane Helene destroyed my family home. 4 feet of water surged into the home while my parents were still inside. They are safe, but our home and almost all of our belongings have been destroyed. Both cars are gone, and the foundation of our lives has been shattered.

I'm Leila Tirone from Hudson, Florida. My parents, Leilinda and Paul Tirone, are 63 and 66 and they are still not retired because they don’t have the means to. They have worked hard their entire lives and are still currently working tirelessly just to make ends meet. My dad is a substitute teacher, and my mom works in an office. Even before this hurricane, they didn’t have enough to stop working. Now, after the hurricane, they are devastated. We are facing unimaginable loss.

As their only child, I am doing everything I can to support them, but the scale of this disaster is beyond what I can handle alone. They need our help to rebuild not just their home, but their hope for the future. All of the money raised will go towards rebuilding their home (cleaning, new dry wall, replacing belongings and appliances, getting rid of mold, etc.), purchasing a new vehicle, and allowing them to retire.
