Help Rebuild Lives in Asheville After Helene
Tax deductible
On September 27th, 2024, Hurricane Helene ripped through Asheville, North Carolina.
During the storm, 230 lives were lost and over 126,000 homes were destroyed. The estimated damage is over $53 billion to recover what was lost. Many families were left without housing and/or jobs as many of the restaurants and businesses will not be reopening.
While the media tends to cover such catastrophes and then move on, the people who experience them are living with the consequences for months and even years. Western North Carolina, particularly the city of Asheville, has been damaged in ways that have tragically affected their community.
All donations for this fundraiser will go directly to Beloved Asheville, a local non-profit organization that has been working hands-on to support the community after the storm. Your funds will go towards securing warm and safe housing for the displaced and basic needs such as food, water, and healthcare for survival and stability.
Let’s do for others what we would wish, should we be in such a situation, that others would do for us.
With Love,
