Help Rebuild Mamaw's Tornado-Struck Home

Milton WV - Divorced Mother of 5 amazing, independent adults, and Mamaw of 4 beautiful, smart grandchildren Has always owned her own home, and independently provided all 9, of her babies, with any and everything they’ve ever needed or wanted, for the last 36 years!! She graduated from Milton High School, as a teenage mom, with a 4.0 GPA, graduated from Marshall University, with honors, with a Bachelor in SOCIAL WORK-She’s been a public servant, specializing in crisis-psychiatric/mental health services to our local communities, and to all 55 counties in our state! Never once, has she needed government assistance to raise her family. They say lightning doesn’t ever strike twice in the same place, but I’m here to tell you it does, My momma lost the roof over her head, on the day of the tornadoes that hit our area, in southern WV!! Please help save what’s left in our mommas house!!! People have said everything outside and inside is a total loss, and it’s not!! She just needs the roof rebuilt and a metal roof put on within the next 10-14 days!! Red Cross has helped her with $400, and food pantry referrals. FEMA has been approved at the state level, but has to get a declaration of DISASTER from the President, which is not a guarantee, and could take 1/2 months, in order for her and other families to receive reimbursement! The one time she needs help… we hope the Milton community, and her county, and state will reward her back for all the public service she continues to provide to others!!!
