Hello, I’m Christine Moyer, owner of Mistress of the Blade Barber Shop in Pompano Beach. On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, our beloved shop was severely damaged when a car crashed into the building, affecting not only us but also the adjacent Ora Smoke shop. This incident resulted in injuries to my staff and a client who were present during the ordeal.

I, along with my assistant Talya, were among those injured; thankfully, we’re on the mend, but Talya is now on crutches and needed stitches. The crash has left us with significant damage to our shop where we've built a community for those who work hard and live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Mistress of the Blade isn’t just a business; it's a community cornerstone offering $10 cuts to ensure everyone can look their best without breaking the bank. Our clientele are hard-working individuals who deserve this sanctuary.

We are currently closed for repairs and are grappling with the complexities of dealing with insurance and legal issues, especially since the driver involved had a suspended license and no insurance. While insurance will eventually help with some costs, we face immediate challenges that need your support.
