I am Mai from Palestine, specifically from Gaza. I am 28 years old, married, lost my husband, and have a daughter, who is 4 and a half years old. During the war on Gaza, I lost my home and everything. The Israeli army asked us to evacuate the area from northern Gaza to southern Gaza. The war began to get worse and worse. Our home was destroyed by the Israeli bombing of Gaza and we were displaced more than once. We went to Rafah because the Israeli army told us that it was a safe area.
