Help rebuild Shady side Florist marshall NC

I am Chris Worley, manager at Shadyside Florist in the town of Marshall in the mountains of western NC. We are the oldest continuously running flower shop in Madison County. One week ago, our lives were changed forever when Hurricane Helene decided to come visit our town and destroy our way of life in a day. We have been the town's flower shop for over 50 years, with the Caldwell family serving as its stewards for the last 38. We have been there for our community through their sorrows and through their most joyous events for multiple generations, and in the space of one evening, it was all washed away.

We have tried through the years to be there for our community and support it however we could through donations to the schools, fundraisers for the needy, and lending a helping hand wherever we can. Now we find ourselves in the position of need. Our goal is to get ourselves reestablished so we can carry on being there for our community. Anything you can donate will help and will go directly to restock and buy supplies.We will be starting from the ground up from a total loss of all of our stock and complete destruction of the building. We find it so hard to ask for help when you have always tried to be the one helping others.
