Help rebuild my mother's home burned in Chile.

Hello, my name is Carolina Henríquez from Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

I am raising funds to support rebuilding my mother's home. This family home and many other homes were in the path of a horrible wildfire that devastated several neighbourhoods in Viña del Mar, Quilpue and Villa Alemana in Chile, claiming many lives on February 2 - 3, 2024. On the 2nd, our home was burned to the ground. Thankfully, no one was hurt, however as a result, my mother, sister and niece have no home.

My mother is a retired teacher and a cancer survivor since 2022. Although my mother is a strong and resilient woman, the worry about how to afford to rebuild her house is overwhelming. The house never had insurance because it was over 50 years old, raising prices and not meeting the constructability requirement. For this reason, I am looking for help to relieve the stress of this situation somehow.

I am raising the funds in Canada and when I reach the goal, I will transfer the funds to her in Chile. The funds will help purchase materials for the construction of the house, home drinking water, sewage installations, and electrical lines.
