Help Rebuild SF and Del Carmen after huge Typhoon
Donation protected
This is a message from our hometown Vice Mayor Jr Corro. Everyone in both Del Carmen and San Fernando lost their homes and livelihood. This is where I grew up. While many are enjoying the holidays, they are doing their best just to survive. Please find it in your heart to help in anyway you can and share. Thanks!
12.21.2021: Four Days After Typhoon Rai (Odette)
This is Del Carmen now after Typhoon Odette. We have 3 casualties but 95% of our homes have been damaged. Our evacuation centers including our classrooms and schools were severely hit. We need the repairs immediately to support those without homes as the rains and typhoons are just starting.
Post disaster is difficult for us to secure rice, water, telecommunications, and materials to rebuild the evacuation centers and homes. We need your help for us to connect to our loved ones, to sustain our survival and start immediately the rebuild process.
Our island communities are badly hit with almost 100% losing their homes, fishing gears and their livelihood. Our inland communities lost their homes and farms. All of us are affected and none spared.
Your public servants are in their offices trying to find food, support repatriation of locals / tourists and entry of humanitarian support. We are all trying our best to survive knowing that all of you out there are doing all you can to help us all.
May God gives the courage to fight thru all of these challenges.
