Help Rebuild the Holmen Family's Life After Devast

Donation protected
Updated March 6th, 2024. Hello my name is Brittany MacLeod and my son Julian Holmen’s Father and family are facing some unfortunate circumstances.

On Friday, March 1, 2024, a devastating fire destroyed the home of Branden, Destiny, and their children Julian, Paizleigh, Graileigh, Hayden, and their soon-to-arrive baby girl. They lost everything in the fire, including their belongings, clothing, furniture, and cherished memories.

Thankfully, all the children were at school, Destiny was away, and Branden managed to escape with their beloved pets, Apollo the dog and their cat. While they have reached out to the Red Cross and are working with insurance, the process will take time. In the meantime, they find themselves in urgent need of clothes, shoes, and baby items to rebuild their lives from scratch.

This tragic event has placed an immense financial and emotional burden on the Holmen family. With a new baby on the way, Destiny will soon be unable to work, making their situation even more challenging. They are reaching out to the community for support in any way possible.

UPDATE: The Holmen Family has gotten news from their insurance that they are only covering a small portion of what the house is even worth. Yes, they know they are going to have to fight this, but what this means is they do not have the funds to even start to remodel the home. Insurance is only covering $50k and the remaining balance on the Mortgage is $40k. Leaving them not much to work with and the cost to build the bare minimum will cost more than what they were told from insurance. They also were give. An update that everything will have to be replaced down to the studs. And frame of the home. The timeline without fighting for what they should have been given to rebuild is still 7-8 months so with having to battle this next hurdle it will be even longer.

Your generous donation of clothes, items, or financial assistance will go a long way in helping the Holmen family find a place to stay, purchase essential items, and start rebuilding their lives. Even sharing this campaign with your network can make a significant impact by reaching more people who may be able to help.

The Holmen family deeply appreciates your kindness, support, and compassion during this unimaginably difficult time. Together, we can bring hope and relief to this family as they navigate the road to recovery.

Thank you for being a source of strength and solidarity for the Holmen family. Your contribution will make a difference and help them rebuild their lives one step at a time.
