Helping us thru a difficult period

To our parents, a home is more than a place to rest your head at the end of a long day. Their home is where they raised us, welcomed their grandchild into the world, the place that anchors them to our community. Their home is a physical manifestation of the soul of our family.

Many of you have asked about how you can help support Fair Oaks Burger. Our intention is to reopen as quickly as possible. We strive to be a pillar around which our community can come together as we rebuild and love that our family restaurant has been a part of the fabric of Altadena for the past 37 years.

Earlier this week, we learned that our parents' home was lost in the Eaton Fire, the place where we always gathered together as a family and shared so many indelible moments.

In lieu of support for FOB, to the extent anyone is so inclined, we are providing this link, funds from which will go to sustaining them during the this difficult recovery. We know there are many in need in our community, and we look forward to supporting all of you in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead as we rebuild together. We are grateful for the outpouring of care and concern, thankful that all of our family members are safe, and blessed to be a small part of what has made, and will make, Altadena such an amazing place to live.
