Help Rebuild the Village Bar Supper Club

I just want to thank everyone for the support on the GoFundMe page I created a few weeks ago to help support my grandparents out after the tragedy with the Village Bar Supper Club. So far you guys have raised $3k and I'm so grateful for all the support from everyone. I have discussed with my grandparents (Kurt and Shelley) if they wanted to use the money to cover the tree cleanup and all the things insurance didn't cover. They instead brought up the idea of giving the money back to the workers that have been with us through the years and are considered part of our family. In a time of crisis, the Village Bar family all came together for my grandparents and showed them that we have the best staff any boss could ever ask for. My grandparents would like to return the favor to them by splitting up the money with staff because they too have lost a big part of their lives. For many, it was their only job and now they go without a job until we open back up (if we do). All the amazing employees of the restaurant deserve this and I want to thank everyone for helping give them something. I will leave the GoFundMe open until August 15th if anyone else wants to give anything to help our VB family. Thank all of you guys again for the tremendous support! (Yes, they have insurance, this is just a small fund to cover the things that aren't covered by insurance. They aren't asking for the money; I'm just doing this out of the kindness of my heart to help good people.)
