Help Rebuild Lisa and Thomas house!

Since the Winter storm of 2021 in San Antonio, my close friends and neighbors Lisa and her son Thomas have been without water. They have not had a working restroom or kitchen, as the storm caused so much damage to the pipes. They rely on family members to take showers and get water. Lisa is also physically disabled, and her son Thomas is autistic. The whole house is in critical need of renovation, such as the foundation, plumbing, electrical, and the roof. The family will also need help in paying for a short term rental to stay in while the house is being rebuilt.

I hope that you will support this cause, as I don't want to see my neighbors displaced. The house is located in the area of Alta Vista, a neighborhood in San Antonio currently experiencing lots of gentrification. The house was built in 1929, and the property has belonged to Lisa's
family for three generations  . They are the last of the original Black families that have settled in our neighborhood over one hundred years ago. Any donation amount is highly appreciated.
