Help recover CRF & LLO from Helene storm damage

Help with immediate expenses to get our business back on its feet after Hurricane Helene storm damage. In response to several friends asking how they can help or if we have a way to receive donations, we have created this fundraiser.

We are Andrew & Crystal Mize, owners of Canopy Ridge Farm, Lake Lure Outdoor, and Lake Lure Escape Games in Lake Lure, NC. Small businesses that our family owns and operates... our livelihood for six years now.

Funds will be used to help with expenses that insurance will not cover (if insurance comes through). Our goal is to restore the flooded buildings and replace damaged equipment. HVAC, septic, well, plumbing, drywall, vehicles, etc.

Specific loss details: We have four buildings that flooded. The river deck washed away with a lot of the land on the river side, barely leaving the river building on its foundation. This building flooded about 4ft inside. We expect the river building to be demolished without the option to rebuild since there is much less land on that side of the road. (The river building had been rented to our friends at Rockreation Lake Lure. Miraculously, the building held together such that they could recover some inventory!). The Canopy Ridge Farm zipline office flooded at least one foot inside, so we will have electric, drywall, flooring, and possibly septic and well issues. The Lake Lure Outdoor cabin flooded about 4ft inside the office level, so we will need to replace or repair HVAC, septic, well, plumbing, electrical. The garage flooded 8 - 10ft. Equipment and vehicles need replacement or repair.
