Help The Little Red Hen Coffee Shop Recover

My name is Annisa Shay, and I am representing the Shay family in Altadena. Our family business, The Little Red Hen Coffee Shop on Fair Oaks, has been a staple in the community since 1955.

We are completely lost for words to see what my grandmother Rena Shay built, and created, which laid a foundation for her family, passed down to my uncle Lonzia Shay who ran the business for 10 years. Then came my mom, Barbara Shay who took things to a whole different level. From winning multiple awards, and being featured in different magazines. To the many celebrities who lived in altadena / Pasadena , or was just passing through because they heard how good the food is. And creating a space for everyone to come Eat, converse, and catch up with old friends. To have it all burn down to flames.
