Support Red Castle After 10th Break-In
Donation protected
On Monday, February 10th (my birthday of all days!), Red Castle Games was broken into. Thieves drilled the lock out and made their way in, stealing thousands of dollars in product and leaving a trail of destruction. It was a gut punch and not the birthday surprise I was hoping for.
Then, just days later, they destroyed the door and it happened again. This time there were two burglars and they took so much more.
These back-to-back burglaries have left us reeling. The financial loss is staggering, not just in stolen products, cards, and cash, but in the physical damage to our store and the emotional toll on our team.
For nearly 15 years, Red Castle Games has been proud to be a part of the Foster-Powell (FOPO) and Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood, building a welcoming community space for gamers of all ages. We’ve worked hard to create a place where friendships are forged, laughter echoes over the tables, and everyone feels at home.
But over the past two and a half years, we’ve been hit by multiple break-ins, with these last two being numbers 9 and 10. Each time, we’ve pushed through without asking for help. But this time, the damage is too much to absorb alone. Next month marks our 15th anniversary, and we want to keep serving our amazing community, but to do that, we need your help.
Insurance will cover only a fraction of the losses, and we’re facing a long road to recovery. Your donation will go toward repairing our store, installing new security doors (and shutters if we can raise enough), a new alarm system, and ensuring that Red Castle Games can continue to be a gathering place for our neighborhood and beyond.
If you've ever played a game here, met a friend here, or just believe in keeping local businesses and gaming communities strong, please consider donating. Every little bit helps.
Thank you for standing with us. Let’s roll high and come back stronger together.
