Ease the Burden during Rori Hache Murder Trial

Donation protected
My name is Robyn and I am asking for help in raising funds for my good friends, Jessica and Erik Hache to help support them through the trial of the murder of their daughter/stepdaughter, Rori Hache.

The Backstory:

Three years ago, Rori Hache went missing.  A short time later, body parts were found in Lake Ontario that were identified as being Rori's.  On this day, a family lost their sister, daughter and loved one.  It has since been discovered that another young woman had fallen to the same fate as Rori, and as of now, the accused is being tried for his crimes.

I am sure that many of you have read about it and are even following the trial right now.  Horrific revelations have come to light since the trial had started last week, and those are things that the parents, friends and family members of these two young women are being made to be witness to.

I am attempting to raise money in support of Erik and Jessica Hache.  They have been the silent victims throughout these last years and have suffered since they first learned of their daughters’ death.  Today, they must sit in the courtroom to listen to the details of what happened and look the accuser in the eye for the next 3 months, if not longer.

Why is there a financial need?  And how will the money be spent?

Monday to Friday they are in another city while the trial commences.  During this time, they are living in a hotel provided by Victim Services (Thank you!), and  are unable to work.  I cannot express how hard this time is for them and I really would appreciate it if anyone could lend a hand helping to support them during this time.  Finances should be the least of their concern as they support each other through this nightmare.

I am looking for contributions towards food, help with rent, gas money, assistance with car repairs and anything else that might ease their burden.  Thankfully the hotel is taken care of, we are just looking for the bare essentials to get them through these months.

My goal is $12,000.  Rent for 3 months at $3900, Food at $4400, Gas at $700, Car repairs at $3000 (They need this car to get back on weekends; however, repairs are needed but they are unable to afford at this point)

I have literally calculated the bare bones of what it would take for them to survive financially these months.  Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

Why this cause means so much:

Since I have known these two wonderful individuals, they have asked for nothing from the public, friends, or family.  I know there are good days and bad days.  I also know there are more bad days than good.  But they never complain or ask for help.

I have children of my own and the thought that I would have to go through anything even relatively close to what they are living with, is unimaginable.  Any parent, sibling or anyone, I’m sure, can feel empathy and compassion for their situation.  We often think this could never happen to us or that it only happens in the movies,  so when it does, we are often unprepared.  So let's do what we can to reduce the burden for these parents.

Last but not least:

If you would like to share this, please feel free as it would be extremely helpful in reaching our goal.
And of course, thank you ALL for your support and love.  Every donation, no matter how small, goes a long way.
