Help Reed Barron, he needs Bone Marrow Transplant for…..
Donation protected
My family has been super lucky to get to know Reed Barron. He is married to Samantha and they have a two year old girl. Reed works in ministry at our church and in the community. He recently started working in Grapevine as a barber and my boys love getting their haircut by him.
He was just diagnosed with aplastic anemia (a rare bone marrow disorder where the immune system attacks healthy blood cells).
Reed’s words:
Leading up to the blood transfusion last week, I was absolutely winded and exhausted from doing very light activity. The blood transfusion helped energy levels a lot, but it doesn’t address low white blood cells or platelets, which means I’m extremely susceptible to illnesses and severe bleeding. The only “cure” will be a bone marrow transplant, which I am currently waiting for.
As terrible as I’ve felt the past few months, and as difficult as my work situation looks, God has shown himself to be so merciful and gracious to me and my family. I see the mercy of God towards me in that I ONLY have a life-threatening bone marrow disorder! It could be so much worse!
And I see the grace of God towards me in the amazing ways so many people have helped me and family during this time. People have been so generous and loving; texting me, giving financially to us, watching our baby, sharing medical knowledge, visiting me in the hospital, praying and talking with us, providing meals for us, and so much more!
The financial uncertainty is real for this family. They are grateful for your gifts.
