Help Reestablish Liz and her program in Embrun, Ontario!

Hi folks,

As many of you know, Liz Tompkins has dedicated the last decade of her life to working with vulnerable and at risk children and youth in care, as well as their families, caregivers and support teams through her incredible program, Healing Horses Healing Hearts.

Families who have been involved with Liz and her therapeutic program are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Healing Horses Healing Hearts as it gets reestablished at Epiphany Farms in Embrun, Ontario after a move earlier this summer.

Liz’s programming offers the children and youth a safe space to heal, grow, and develop the social and life skills required for individuals to thrive.

Youth and families connected to Healing Horses, Healing Hearts programming have access to therapeutic learning modalities such as Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), as well as other therapeutic activities to support emotional and mental health. In addition to their social and emotional health being supported, the practical life skills training that come with working on the farm are invaluable. This type of therapeutic programming creates amazing family and community wrap-around support which strengthens bonds and builds healthier relationships for kids, their parents, their extended family and the community at large.

Your donation will directly support Liz and the future of her program Healing Horses Healing Hearts at Epiphany Farms, ensuring that more children, youth and their families have access to this life-changing experience.
