Help Refugee’s escape Sudan Conflict

Hello everyone, I’m Sai, currently residing in Canada, originally born in Khartoum. I fled as a refugee during my childhood. I am reaching out to raise funds for some of my family members – my dad’s niece, nephew, and their family – who are currently in Sudan. Due to the escalating violence causing instability, we are working to relocate them to a safer place outside of Sudan. The rising inflation has significantly increased the costs, especially for a large family. They are a family of 10, including 7 kids, the youngest being 4 years old.

 Here’s the cost breakdown:

 • 4,000 Sudanese pounds per person from Shendi to Atbara = 40,000 Sudanese pounds, equivalent to 66.60 USD.

 • 1,386,000 Sudanese pounds per person from Atbara to Egypt = 13,860,000 Sudanese pounds, which is $23,061.56 USD.

 The total cost amounts to 23,128.16 USD, equivalent to 30,985.95 CAD.

 Similar to many other Sudanese people facing financial constraints to leave, we have family members still trapped, awaiting an end to this nightmare. There’s a possibility that one more family member may join, so I’ve rounded up to accommodate that if possible. Any additional funds will be directed towards food and resources once they reach safety.

 I plan to send the money through MoneyGram. If there are changes in the method due to difficulties in accessing certain resources, I will make sure to provide updates here.
