This Gofund me is organized by Latishua Smith Regina Patton’s first cousin.
Regina JoAnn Patton
is a devoted mother that is loved by all who come in contact with her. She was affectionately called Gina, Gina Boo, or Gin-Gin by her Mom, sister & many others. Gina has a bright smile that would light up the room! She has a signature contagious laugh that would make you laugh right with her! Gina is such a sweet soul & she never met a stranger!
Gina has suffered since early childhood with chronic Asthma which often left her in the hospital fighting to get well on into adulthood. Her oldest daughter is the apple of her eye Rae’Lynn known as Rae-Rae by her mommy that she adores. Rae’Lynn also suffers from the same condition, she is often in & out of the hospital fighting this same chronic illness. Gina was picking up the girls from Brookside Elementary 11/25/24 where she is an Alumini when this tragedy happened. She began to experience a fatal asthma attack! The school staff went into action getting Gina help, but unfortunately she could not pull through this time & lost her ongoing battle with Chronic Asthma on 12/1/24. Regina leaves behind all of her loved ones that adored her unique style & love for fashion! Gina was a fly girl she kept her hair slayed, her baby girls & everyone around her! Gina was an amazing braider & could do any hair style for that matter. She leaves behind her 3 baby girls Rae’Lynn (6) Jaelaa (2) & Royalti (1).
At this time Gina did not have life insurance! She was in the midst of applying for disability as she could not work due to her chronic illness. She would often try to work & would braid/ do hair daily as her main source of income. Being that her death was so tragic & unexpected. Our family is asking our community to help bridge the gap and help with funeral expenses of our beloved Regina J. Patton. We would also love to gather supplies for her girls, as well as help provide for the girls through the holiday season! Thank you for your love and support during this tragedy! Anything will help. God bless you!
Love The Patton Family
