Help Regun fight Cancer
Donation protected
It is with a heavy and humble heart that Shelly and Brent are reaching out for support and donations.
Their son Regun has recently been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, which is a form of aggressive bone cancer. Regun has already begun chemotherapy, and will continue for 25 more weeks. All of his chemo will be inpatient due to the intensity of the treatments that he’ll be required to take. On week 11, Regun will also undergo surgery to remove the tumor, and determine if they’re able to save his leg, or if they’ll be forced to amputate.
Regun came from a very traumatic and abusive background. Due to some of this neglect, he had several trips to the dental office and that is where Shelly had originally met him. She instantly fell in love with his cute little face and his big long eyelashes that entered the room before he did! Altogether, Regun was placed in 14 different foster situations before Shelly and Brent adopted him. The experience has been nothing short of a roller coaster, with many ups and downs, but Regun and their family have worked extremely hard to finally reach this good place, only to be met with this next challenge.
This is certainly not something that any family should have to endure, let alone a 15 year old child that has already had to overcome so much. Shelly has already maxed out her PTO, and they’ve still got a long road ahead of them. Please consider donating to help relieve some of the financial burden as they navigate these challenging times.
Follow along with Regun’s fight
