Help Rejuvenate Georgia's Wool Industry

Donation protected
Peach State Fiber is Metro Atlanta's first Fibershed. Our goal is to create a place based regional fiber ecosystem. By working to fill gaps in the system, we want to rejuvenate the fiber industry here in Georgia. Our mission is to support small to medium fiber farmers through education, advocacy, workforce development, and business assistance.

By utilizing the nonprofit model, we hope to get grant funding our 3 initial goals:
1. A Grower mapping project to create a database of cottage industry fiber farmers (herd of 50 and less).
2. Develop and education program based on their needs, and working to implement regenerative and sustainable practices on farms.
3. Purchase fiber mill equipment to expand access to additional revenue streams for farms through wool production and development of renewable bio products.

We are in the process of filing our 501(c)3 paperwork, and need your help for the final push. So far everything has been paid for by our President, Jaime Rosegren, and Vice President, Keisha Cameron. We are asking our community to help us achieve this small goal so that we may work towards much larger ones.
