Help Release "Northern Dreams"

Here we are again. After raising funds and releasing "Dark Rain" over the past couple years, I thought I had decided to take a break from releasing more music. I am always writing and working on new material but I wanted to step back and really work on some new things to see what I could come up with.

But it is funny how big plans like this almost never actually go as planned because we are here now. (Again...Haha!). During my time here at UNC, I have met some incredible people and musicians. Kelsey Wallner and Ben Hall have been some of the best friends and collaborators I have ever worked with. It all started with a show we did a couple years ago. We played my tune "Northern Dreams" and it just felt right! A small trip with a show in Omaha really solidified this group of people.

A few weeks later, Kelsey sends me an email with her newly written lyrics to "Northern Dreams". They are beautiful, haunting, and inspiring words that made me realize that we need to make this a full project and I want people to hear this.

All that essentially brings us to now. Some new tunes and new lyrics on the way, we have a fully planned album with 7 tracks that all have their own story to tell. The work that has done by Ben and Kelsey so far has been amazing and I cannot wait to bring you all a finished product!

"Northern Dreams" will be the opening track for this album that will bring you all into a world that Kelsey's lyrics have built and will create a place for you all to enjoy the the rest of the album. Many of the tracks on this record are inspired by the powerful moments of our lives and the people we spend them will. We hope to build a world that you can come into and forget about things for awhile. We want you to enjoy your time in the music and allow yourself to be free while you listen. Everything that we have written for this record is for you.

Of course, writing, recording, and releasing an album is not easy. It requires time, effort, thought, and, of course, money. This fundraiser will allow you to pre-order the album which will help us gather the funds to pay for this, so that when it is released we can get you a free copy of the album along with other perks based on what tier of donation you choose.
