Update:
We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! As our family welcomes the New Year, we are very humbled. Since the last update Alfred's diagnosis has changed.

This 49 yr old, strong, vibrant, Father of 7 has been fighting stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer for over a year. The cancer has now spread to his liver, colon, and lymph nodes. This is causing him immense pain and severe weight loss. He is a 6' man, currently weighing 120lb. He has undergone:
-7 rounds of IV chemo
-A major (failed) surgery
-28 consecutive rounds of radiation AND chemo
-2 liver stent replacements
-surgery moving the digestive system: in order to bypass a cancerous obstruction
-malnutrition
- multiple hospital stays (even a helicopter ride)

We have now received the worst news possible:
"THE CANCER IS TERMINAL"

This news has devastated our family! However, my Superhero Husband is not done fighting. He will be doing IV Chemo AGAIN. Therefore, going back to work is just not feasible.

We will be traveling 2 hours each way. This is will bring our family significant financial challenges. After gas, food, and often lodging we are left with virtually no money for simple living expenses.

We are trying to stay positive. Hoping the time we have left with Alfred is filled with JOY, not worrying about money.

WE NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER!
PLEASE "SHARE" AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

Thank you to the family and friends that have helped and supported us! We appreciate and love you all.

STOP
YOU CAN HELP SAVE ALFRED'S LIFE!!
I am Trina, Alfred Cochran's Wife. Alfred has Pancreatic Cancer. On April 11th he is having the "Whipple Surgery" to remove the cancer and several other organs. This is one of the most complicated surgeries performed.

We live two hours from the closest Oncologist or Hospital. Since November our Friends and Families have generously taken on financial responsibilities that were not theirs. However, with me having to take time off work and gas prices to travel back and forth we are quickly falling behind.

Alfred is so concerned about money $$ $$ and how we will survive while he heals, that he isn't worrying about himself or his health. I am trying to raise enough money to put his mind at ease so he can concentrate on his recovery.

BACKSTORY:
Alfred and I have been together for 20 years. We have 7 children. Our youngest is 12 and won't leave her Dad's side.
On November 1, 2022 we noticed Alfred's eyes were turning yellow. After a trip to the ER, he was "fast tracked". Just 3 days later on November 4th, he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Since his diagnosis he has had 2 procedures and Chemotherapy.
Alfred endured SEVEN rounds of Chemo. Every 12 days he received 5 very aggressive medications dispensed through a port over a painful three day period.
All those months of suffering paid off: THE MASS HAS SHRUNK!!!!
Now, he has the fight of this massive surgery.
PLEASE HELP WITH ALFRED'S FIGHT!!!
