!!!HELP RELOCATE CAIN & PETS!!!

Hi, I'm Cain. I'm a 32yo non-binary trans man and have two ginger tabby cats: Taco and Waffles, and a pet ball python: Sullivan. I am an artist/creator, haunt actor and also work in food service. I'm crowdfunding to relocate due to personal safety and well-being concerns. I live in a house with four other roommates, two of which are not on the lease. The utilities are in my name and I am the party responsible for making sure they are paid.

The last year has been extremely rocky with myself losing a job, former roommates leaving without notice, and my mental health being in serious decline due to lack of access to proper healthcare.

A few weeks ago one of my roommates, with whom I've never had issues with previously, began to act strangely towards me over a solvable issue. I was willing to give benefit of the doubt until I was cornered at 3am while on my way to use the restroom. I noticed the behavior change was strange but assumed she had been out with her partner and had a few drinks. The night escalated when I returned to my room and received a call from her. I attempted to address her concerns about the lease but was met with incoherent speech and erratic behavior. I decided to end the conversation to return to sleep and asked if we could speak at a different time.

I've since reached out to talk about this. Yet, she has now ceased to pay for utilities and rent to me and accused me of things I have not said or done. We ended up in a fight about payment in our house group chat, and the next morning I was awoken by her boyfriend attempting to kick down my bedroom door, threatening harm with a weapon.

A second roommate has consistently exhibited transphobic behavior towards me, acting aggressively towards others (to the point I’ve had to carry a knife for protection) and also refusing to pay. This has been an ongoing concern that I originally planned to handle with legal action. However, due to the violence of the other situation- have decided to cut my losses and leave for my safety ASAP.

This crowdfund will help me secure the first, last and security deposit for a new place, pay for a moving truck, and help me cover utilities and rent until I can close my utility accounts, break lease and move. I've also considered minor emergency costs: all in total of $3,000 to relocate.
