Help Relocate Olesya's Kitchen

Hi my name is Lynn and I am fundraising on behalf of Olesya's kitchen. Olesya's Kitchen is one of the hidden treasures located here in Columbus, Indiana. Starting in 2019, Oleysa Whitfield's dreams of opening her own little restaurant featuring her homemade Ukrainian and international cuisine dishes came true and she opened at her little spot at 1531 McKinley Avenue. Despite surviving covid and its effects on small businesses in our area, she's been presented with another dilemma. She has 90 days to relocate after her building has been planned to be demolished for further construction of one of Columbus's most successful companies. So now after Oleysa has put her entire life savings into her business, she is faced with this current obstacle of coming up with the funds to move her restaurant to a new location. I want to tell you why this story is so important to me. I met Oleysa about 4 years ago when she was first trying to fundraise for her current location. Her story was so amazing to me. She moved from the Ukraine 22 years ago in hopes of a better life here in America. Her dream was to introduce her authentic homemade dishes to Columbus. Dishes such as her Hungarian gulyash, soups like Ukrainian borsch, desserts like honey cake and baklava, Her number one sales are her chicken stroganoff and pork meatballs. This is no big chain restaurant. There is nothing frozen and ready to be just heated. Everything is homemade from her heart and soul. Trust me when you come and meet her in her little restaurant you will understand why it's so easy just to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and talk for hours. It's not just the food it's her atmosphere and it's everything about her. So as a single female business owner, I definitely related with her and the struggles of trying to keep a business going. And her business is successful. So I'm asking all my friends to help keep her dream and her restaurant alive while she makes plans to try to find another location and try to come up with a way to fund it. Every little bit will help. Please help me keep her business and not be another statistic of what's happening around places to eat here in Columbus.
