Help relocate our family to a safer place

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. We’re a family of five and our 3 littles have been sick for weeks with no answers. Yesterday we finally got answers that were followed by more bad news, the kids all have respiratory infections caused by mold in the house we are renting. The roof has been leaking since March I’ve sent in numerous work orders and they’ve yet to do anything aside from putting a tarp on the roof which hasn’t even put a dent in the problem. Now as a direct result of the roof leak we have mold. The landlords are refusing to do anything about it and when I spoke with a lawyer they told me while we have a good case our best bet would be to give the landlords a ten day notice and move out, we’d then be compensated for moving costs but it could take 6 months to see that money meanwhile my kids are getting sicker. I hate asking for help but I don’t have the extra money to move and put a down payment and security deposit on another house.
