Help Relove Oxley Replace Lost Equipment

We started Relove Oxley 7 and a half years ago.

 

As your own small business, you live and breathe its very existence. From the moment you wake up everyday to the time you go to bed.

 

We have nurtured and grown our business with very the loving and supportive local community and support from people right across Southeast Queensland for nearly 8 years.

 

When you start out in a small business, it’s very much like a seedling that you nurture, and watch grow, and you continue to be thrilled by its very success every single day. Nothing is ever taken for granted so you work, day-in and day-out to ensure it’s a success.

 

When the Brisbane Floods hit in 2011 it was a one in a hundred-year flood (along with 1974). There was not supposed to be another unbelievably freak weather event that will happen just 10 years later.

We opened in 2014 and have been lucky up until this point, but unfortunately our luck has run out.

 

We are a proud couple and would otherwise do what we normally do and that is grind it out when the tough times come. But this is different. We want to stay and rebuild. We need any assistance, financial, physical, and emotional.

 

Our thoughts go to our team who have been with us since the beginning, their commitment is second to none and, we want continue to give them employment.

 

The financial assistance that this GoFundMe page will provide is so we can replace Café Equipment, shop fixtures and fittings and, cleaning rubbish removal.

 

There are hundreds of people impacted right across Brisbane, and these are also our customers. Everyone will need help and support during this time. Please go check on your neighbours.
