Help Remi Recover from Kidney Failure

My name is Dustin Martinez, and I'd say me and Remi just graduated college together from Ferrum. He's been with me every step of the way since sophomore year, and he's been my best friend since the day we met. Remi has always been there to put a smile on my face and bring joy to my laughter. Throughout our time in school, he's made a lot of uncles and friends, and even picked up a mom along the way, so it’s not just me impacted. We’ve shared so many cuddles and sleep breaks before my next class, road trips throughout the mountains, countrysides, and city adventures together, finding streams to play in and making unforgettable memories.

However, unfortunately, it has come to this. As some of you may know, Remi has been struggling ever since coming back from Ferrum. After several regular vet appointments and a diagnosis of a UTI infection, kidney infection, and prostatitis, we made the difficult decision of bringing him to the emergency vet. He was later hospitalized for serious kidney failure, which resulted in a very big vet bill, leaving him hospitalized for three days. There is talk about potential surgery if it comes to it. These ever-exceeding costs are continuously racking up. We are starting this GoFundMe in hopes that some of these payments may help us a little in Remi’s road to recovery. As a student, fresh out of college, anything and everything will help. Remi is a little over 2 and a half, still so much life to live, and we are willing to put in as much effort as we can.
