Help Renae after the loss of her husband

On Saturday the 5th of February 2022, we lost a loving husband/father/brother/friend and son. Our dearest friend Paul a 3x kidney transplant patient, was in a coma fighting Covid Pneumonia and sadly passed away after a month of battling this illness. During this time, his wife Renae moved house and gave birth to baby number 5, at 36 weeks pregnant via an emergency C-Section. In addition to this, three years ago, she also lost her angel son, who was delivered as a stillborn. We are trying to raise funds to assist Renae financially to support her growing young family and ease a bit of the enormous burden she carries as a now widowed mother. Her kids’ ages are 12, 10, 6 and 2 weeks old.

Paul had a smile that would light up the room and was loved by all who knew him. He loved spending time outdoors, teaching his boys fishing and camping skills. Paul was his best when he was immersed in nature with his family. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to meet his daughter, who was born 11 days before he passed away.

Before any family member had contracted Covid, Paul sold his house in the hope of offering a better future for their family. Also Paul and Renae organised for the children to move schools. Sadly, when Paul was hospitalised and, in a coma, with Covid Pneumonia, his wife Renae had no choice but to leave and move houses. It has been a constant struggle for Renae to get through each catastrophe she has faced, but now she has hit rock bottom and help is needed urgently.

As her closest friends, we feel this is the last thing we can do to help Renae support her family and navigate through this tragic and challenging time in all their lives.
