Please Help Me Continue Caring for My Mom, A Lifelong battle
Donation protected
Hi everyone who is reading this. My name is Rene, I'm 33 I'm a caregiver to my mother whom I've been caring for since age 15. It's been a long road, to say the least. My mother has been chronically ill and unable to work at all since her health first started to go downhill (which was at a very young age for her in her mid-30s).
Just to give a little bit of explanation of what we're dealing with .... My mom has been diagnosed with complex PTSD, SSD, a long battle with Fibroids, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis of the spine. Shes has been through a few different surgeries but ultimately nothing has helped long term.
Her body is extremely treatment-resistant which means most of the methods and/or drugs that may help are not covered and everything costs extra, and the drugs that are covered cause extreme reactions in her body, and make things worse.
Medical bills, housing, and treatments are piling up and I'm unable to keep up, care for my mom, and care for my own health mental and physical. It has been really hard but I'm still fighting.
I also know that I'm not the only person that needs help, but would be forever grateful for any support at all.
This is the last thing I'd ever want to do but I'm everything is building up and I am unable to keep up. I appreciate whoever is taking the time to read and consider our story.
