Help Rene Get Better

Hey everyone, Dylan here - Rene's firstborn and (arguably) coolest son.

I am posting on behalf of my Dad today because he is not able to. He has been diagnosed severe liver failure - rendering him very ill and nearly bedridden. He has been this way for a little over a week now.

Though he is out of the hospital, he is struggling to pay medical expenses and his rent. It is a scary time for everyone in his life - especially him.

He is hoping that the compassion from his lifelong friends, colleagues, students, and alumni will help him raise enough to not worry about to much at once. He must focus on his health and well-being first and foremost.

Which leads us to now. He is a good man, and has the biggest heart. When I visited him yesterday, I asked him what is driving him to keep fighting.

His answer: My little brother Gavin, and I.

To watch the both of us grow up, get married, spread the love he has given to us among those that are in and will eventually come into our lives.

I implore you, his family and friends, to consider donating to him. However you know him - from his time as a Golf professional, or as a lifelong friend - he is calling on the compassion of others to help him.
