Help Renee, Brian & Tulah Find Their Footing Again...

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I'm reaching out to ask for support for a family that has blessed and continues to bless my life in so many ways — Renee, her partner Brian, and their absolutely magical daughter, Tulah. This family has brought so much love, light, and warmth into my world — I can’t even begin to explain it. While we’re not connected by blood, the bond we share runs just as deep.

Tulah, or as we like to call her, "the Mayor" came into this world with her eyes wide open, ready to take it all in. From the very beginning, she’s been radiant with curiosity and joy, charming everyone she meets. She’s a little beacon, so wise beyond her years, fiercely independent, beautifully sensitive to the world around her and endlessly enchanted by the magic this earth offers us. She seeks out connection like it’s her birthright, and somehow, it always finds her.

Her dad, Brian, is a deeply loving and adventurous spirit. He guides jeep and waterfall tours through the Blue Ridge Mountains — sharing the beauty of this land with visitors in such a grounded and joyful way. It’s truly a gift to go on a tour with him. But for awhile, Brian was unable to work due to a serious knee injury. Around that same time, Hurricane Helene hit, and their family was out of work for months — making it incredibly hard to get back on their feet.

And just as they were slowly finding their rhythm again, Renee — the radiant center of their world — lost her job. Renee has poured so much of herself into caring for others, building community, and holding her family steady. But now, she’s choosing to follow a path that’s longed called to her. She’s enrolled in a beautiful modality called Spinal Flow, which helps the nervous system unwind and release deep, stored tension — a powerful form of healing that invites the body back into safety and ease.

Renee has always had a gift for healing, But like so many of us, financial hardship has kept her from fully stepping into her calling. This certification is her doorway, not only to self-empowerment and meaningful work, but to providing for her family in a way that aligns with her spirit.

And so, I’m raising funds to help Renee complete her Spinal Flow certification so she can begin practicing here in Asheville — and to support her and Brian in covering the cost of summer camp or childcare for Tulah, this will give Renee the space to take on a part-time job, while completing her certification and help meet their basic living needs while they navigate this tender chapter of transition and becoming.

This family has weathered so much.....with grace, grit, love, and humor. I want them to thrive. I want them to feel the spaciousness of ease. I wnat them to feel supported. I want their gifts (which are many) to finally bloom without the weight of survival pressing down on them.
