Help Renee Escape Their Abusive Household

This fundraiser is to help my friend Renee escape their abusive household in Texas. Renee is not allowed to leave the house, and cannot transition. They are subject to constant surveillance from their parents, despite being an adult: Their electronics are monitored at all times, and their dad has slept in the living room to keep them from escaping. Right now, they have nowhere to go. This fundraiser is to give them that safe place they can escape to.

Renee needs funds to move out of Texas, and to Oregon, where a safe place awaits them. They need at least $2k to be able to afford the security deposit and rent on an apartment while they search for a job in Oregon. Anything more than that would go towards paying for clothes and a phone, as they won't be able to bring much, if anything, with them when they leave. There will be friends who will try their best to support Renee when they arrive at their safe place in Oregon.

The home situation has become unbearable for them. Funds at bare minimum are needed sometime within the next two months, but reaching that $2k goal sooner means they will be out of their nightmarish situation faster. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring Renee closer to a happy and safe life.
